Embark Studios (developer of Arc Raiders) has removed the Hidden Bunker Event from the map. This was done to eliminate players who would glitch into it, ruining their fun.
In today's arc raiders materials Discord chat, a representative of the studio announced that they had temporarily removed Hidden Bunker in order to prevent unfair exploits. They are also working on fixing the issue. As well, there are some new products in the store.
In order to access the Hidden Bunker, which appears on Spaceport's map, you must activate four antennas. These are located southwest the Departure Building (which is itself southwest the Launch Towers). Because it's not easy to do, we have an entire guide that explains how to unlock the Hidden Bunker. This is how it's meant to work.
In place of those annoying antenna missions, players discovered they could throw themselves directly into the bunker area by applying clever physics. It's just a standard out-ofbounds glitch. However, if you are able to play the game correctly, then you will be able escape this mortal coil.
arc raiders coins, which has had to stop players from glitching their way into key-access rooms across the maps, is a good example. I would imagine Embark slamming that big red Button when it gets tired of bunker exploiters. It's okay if the player can't behave. The bunker must return so we can all be disappointed with even more mediocre loot.
Embark Studios is the developer behind Arc Raiders and has announced the release of its first big update. The Cold Snap winter upgrade from the game’s roadmap will be released on January 25.
In a tweet on the Arc Raiders' official Twitter account, Embark teases cryptically "A Cold Snap is Coming" on Friday, December 16. A fallen raider is surrounded in snow as the date appears. Nothing else has been revealed, but we have a few safe assumptions based on the roadmap. This was announced during the launch in late Oct.
In accordance with the official roadmap for Arc Raiders Cold Snap, this update will introduce the new Snowfall Map Condition, which we can all imagine to be exactly as it is written. Let the snow fall, along with all of its slippery, slidy and low visibility risks and rewards.
Notable is that the winter update contains an event called Flickering Flesh, which sounds very cozy when you think of a snowy, winter event. Other features include new quests and raider cards, along with the "departure windows" for its first Expedition.
It's uncertain if we will get more information on Arc Raiders’ winter update before its launch next Wednesday. Embark still hasn't said what is coming next for Arc Raiders in the New Year. We'll find out more after getting our hands on Cold Snap and seeing how Embark works with larger content drops.
