Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport

Land Rover has unveiled the Freelander 2 Sport for the UK market. Will be available in two different colors (Santorini Black and Lago Grey), the Sport features come with body-color exterior components, a rear spoiler, and exclusive 19-inch diamond-turned alloy wheels. Land Rover also offers a sport styling package which includes revised front and rear bumper fascias. This Sport version is powered with a 2.2-liter TD4 diesel engine with 160 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The Freelander 2 Sport will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 10.9 seconds (10.5 seconds with the optional automatic transmission) before topping out at 112 mph. The Freelander 2 Sport is on sale in January 2010 with a base price of £26,695 (OTR).
